Lighthouse Park
Lighthouse Park is in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Full loop of the park (without going into numerous side trails, and there are a lot of side trails, along the way) is around 5 km. Elevation gain is less than 200 m. It’s a family friendly trail. I saw a lot of families with toddlers on the trail. Proper footwear is highly recommended since a large potion of the trail contains exposed roots and rocks (big and small).
There are several side trails that lead you to different viewpoints with beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, islands, landmarks and of course the name sake of the park, the Point Atkinson lighthouse. Below photos show you some samples of what you can expect when you hike in the park.
Parking is limited for a popular and huge park like this one. Come early in a sunny day if you want to be able to park nearby.
