The last one leads you straight to the lake. There is a dirt path on the left side of the last boulder field. If you take the dirt path you don’t have to do scramble much.
The view at the top is gorgeous. Emerald green Wedgemount Lake is surrounded by glacier mountains. Snows can still be seen well into the Summer.
Bugs at the lake and the camp site are abundant. There is an outhouse at the camp site.
Driving to the parking lot is a bit tricky. Save this coordinate: 50°10’07.9″N 122°52’55.5″W (50.168870, -122.882079). This coordinate is not the parking lot, but it’s the last spot on Google Maps for which you can get driving directions. After reaching this spot, you just drive along the narrow, bumpy, and potholed forest service road for 2 km until you reach the parking lot.
